   00. Supervisor(s)

Last Updated August 20, 7:49 AM

   01. Introduction:
Please take the time to read through the Global rules before playing on this ladder. The Global rules not only apply to Moh:AA - Sniper Only - Objective but all Ladders within FPSWars. Take the benefit of knowing the Global rules as this will avoid conflicts with other clans and will increase your chances of winning matches.

   02. Requirements:
Patches/Updates:
Any official updates required for Matches will automatically be approved for FPSWars. Update to ANY mod must be released by FPSWars in order to be official for FPSWars Matches.

Official updates are as follows:
Game Updates released by EA
Mod Files released by FPSWars and
Config files released by FPSWars.

There may be cases where Players are updated and Servers are not and vise-versa. FPSWars will provide a window of 5 days Maximum for ALL Players and Servers to be updated. During this time it is acceptable and highly encouraged that Matches may be re-scheduled based ONLY on player(s) or server(s) not having current updates.

Client Side:
UAC is MANDATORY (http://uac.ac/). See "08. Miscellaneous Rules" for correct usage on entering the Match ID in UAC program.

Server Side:
All Servers that are to be used for FPSWars Official Ladder Matches are to be set up according to the following:

<>Current Config file (currently v1.1)
<>FPSW Sniper Only MOD
<>Any additional server mods that have been authorized by FPSWars and
<>Located within North America.

These requirements are not optional and any server that does not fulfill these requirements will not be used for official FPSWars Matches.

All server setup files needed for Match-play are located in the Downloads section.

   03. Challenges:
1. You can challenge teams up to 2 ranks above your team but never below.

2. A team has 72 hours to respond to your challenge. Failure to respond will result in an automatic forfeit loss.

3. When a team responds to your challenge they must select 3 separate dates and times and 2 maps and include their Server IP/port in the Challenge notes. Use another source of communication (email-xfire-msn-etc.) to give the Password.

4. You must then finalize the challenge within 72 hours of the challenged team accepting.

5. You will then need to select 1 of the maps and 1 of the times to have the match.

6. If a team does not show up 10 minutes after the match is to start it is considered a forfeit to the non-showing team.

7. Make sure to save a record of having the match as you will be contacted via email by a Ladder Supervisor or an FPSWars admin if you are acccused of forfeiting. If you cannot prove you played the accusing team then they will be awarded the match and you will be given a forfeit to your record.

   05. Team Size:
The 3 vs. 3 Ladders will have a minimum of 3 roster players per team. You are allowed to play with more if both Team Captains agree. If for some reason a team is missing a player at the time of the scheduled Match then the match can be played with less than 3 players from each participating team if BOTH of the Team Captains agree. If the Team Captains do not agree to make the teams even then the team with the fewest players may choose to play with less than 3 players or forfeit.
NOTE: ALL Matches can be rescheduled to avoid a forfeit if both Team Captains agree.

   06. Score to Win:
The Match will be played over fourteen (14) rounds on one (1) map. Teams will switch sides after either team reaches seven (7) rounds. The team with the most rounds won wins the Match. Draw rounds do NOT count and must be replayed as if that round never happened.

Note:On some occassions a team wins more rounds combined than needed that will not allow the opposing team to catch up or even create a tie for overtime. In cases such as this the Match may end prematurely ONLY if both Team Captains agree. It would be wise to Screenshot "GG" or "Good Game" for both teams if this occurs to eliminate/limit Match Conflicts. -- Nonetheless it is recommended to play ALL rounds as there are times when clans "think" they have won more rounds than needed and actually lost the match or a tie was created. If both Teams agree to end the Match early due to the losing Team not able to catch up to win or create a tie then NO Match Conflict may be opened even if there was a mistake in scoring. All rounds should be played to prevent any mistakes/issues/misunderstandings by either Team.

Overtime:
In the event that the match ends up in a tie then three (3) extra rounds of overtime will be played. The overtime rounds are setup the same as any of the other rounds. The Challenged Team has side choice and the overtime rounds must be played on the server where the 14th round was played. NO substitutions will be allowed in Overtime. Be sure to restart the map to "zero out" the scores.

   07. Client/Server Settings:
Below are Client and Server settings commands etc... that are either allowed - not allowed - or required. Follow them or plan on getting a forfeit. Plain and simple.

Client settings
<> All standard (stock) skins are allowed.
<> Force models command is allowed.
<> Smoothclients command is allowed.
<> Disabling the "Healthbar" and "Team avatar" will be considered a trace of cheating and will grant a forfeit.
<> Must play with FPS command disabled. (FPS 0). Playing with your FPS enabled will grant a forfeit.

Server settings
<> Not allowed to change any server settings once the Match has started. Doing so will grant a forfeit.
<> Sniper Only mod from FPSW download section must be installed.
<> set timelimit 0
<> set fraglimit 0
<> set g_inactivespectate 0
<> set g_allowjointime 2

Download the cfg file that contains the four (4) commands above from the FPSWars download section. Upload the cfg file to your servers Main folder and restart your server. Once in-game login to rcon and type: rcon exec fpsw.cfg. This will then load the required server commands. Once the Match is over restart your Match server to load its original configs. This file does not need to be uploaded and removed every time a Match is played. Leaving the cfg file in your servers Main folder will not hurt anything.

   08. Miscellaneous Rules:
Use of Challenge Notes
Before putting limitations and/or requests in the Challenge Notes and challenging a team use either the FPSWars Forum or its PM system as your first resort of communication for approval. No other form of communication is allowed for this purpose. By NOT contacting your potential opponent through the FPSWars Forum or PM first you can get your challenge removed "by request of the opponent".

1.) By "Default" the shotgun and rocketlauncher are not allowed. If teams want them then they must put them in the challenge notes and accepted by BOTH teams. It is also allowed to have other weapon limitations. The challenger puts them into the challenge notes and they will be accepted by the opponent when he/she accepts the challenge.
For example:
<>2 snipers max
<>2 shotguns max
(This rule does not apply to the sniper ladders)

2.) The use of an Anticheat not supported by FPSWars is allowed if it is put in the challenge notes and accepted by the opponent.

3.) Friendlyfire is enabled by "Default" (set g_teamdamage 1). It is possible to put Friendlyfire to be disabled in the challenge options (set g_teamdamage 0).

It is better for both teams to agree on these options BEFORE placing a challenge to limit challenge rejections and/or conflicts.

   09. Anti-cheat
1. PBBans - PBBans is FPSWars´ primary streaming partner and all League matches for games that have the steaming feature must be played on a PBBans streaming server.

a. Make sure your team´s server is equipped and streaming to PBBans before challenging or taking on challenges for matches. Failure to comply will result in forfeit of the Match to the team(s) not streaming to PBBans. Possible suspension(s) will be considered with multiple infractions.

b. If you have questions or need help setting up your server for PBBans streaming please visit the PBBans forums or head on over to the Information Center located at http://www.pbbans.com/information-center.html

2. UAC - UAC is to be used in ALL Moh:AA matches. If for whatever reason a player cannot run the UAC Anti-cheat program then that player cannot participate in FPSWars matches.

a. If you have questions or need help setting up UAC please visit the UAC forums located at http://www.uac.ac/.
